I do not have a clear access to the intended location of the Hot Tub/Spa; how do I get the Hot Tub/Spa into my desired location?
Royal Spa has over 25 years of spa delivery experience.  We have a professional crew that will discuss access possibilities and in some circumstances we can make a pre-site inspection days or weeks prior to the scheduled delivery date to check all possibilities and present them to you.  Although not usually necessary, it is always an option to hire a truck-mounted crane or other such equipment. This is usually a small cost and well worth the money in some scenarios.

Do I need to have water connected all the time?
No. Just fill form a garden hose and top up as required. There is no required time for a complete water change; it is common to change the water every 12 to 24 months.

Can I install my Hot Tub/Spa in an enclosed patio, sunroom or glass closure?
Yes. Please call your local Royal Spa Distributor for more information.

Can I use the Hot Tub/Spa immediately after I apply the first dose of chemicals?
Yes/No. (Generally Yes) This is determined by the type of chemicals used and the quality of the water at the time chemicals are added.  Generally you will need to wait about 6 hours for the hot tub/spa to heat up the first time before it is comfortable to get in.  This is plenty of time for any amount of chemicals to be dispersed throughout the water, which will make for a more comfortable bathing experience.

What maintenance is required and how long does it take?
(A)  1 to 2 minutes per week for general maintenance (it is not necessary to treat a spa weekly in low usage weeks/months).  (B)  3 to 5 minutes a month to clean the spa and the spa accessories.  (C)  5 minutes every 1 to 3 months to clean the filter.  (D)  Wood hot tub/spa cabinets require a protective product be applied every 8 to 18 months depending exposure to the elements (all non-wood cabinets require no scheduled maintenance).  This maintenance schedule is simplest and least time consuming of any hot tub/spa manufactured today.

How long does the filter last?
Approximately 3 to 5 years.

How are chemicals introduced to the pool?
After testing the water (e.g. with test strip) any required chemicals are poured into the hot tub/spa water with the jets in the “ON” position.
